Our speaker will be Christi Baughman. Bee Seasons "What happens, When, in Your Hive".

Christi will discuss critical issues that affect beekeeping throughout the year. She lists the 5 seasons of the beekeeping year, detailing temperature, forage, plants, and weather for each season. She will provide guidance for each season to help grow and maintain your hives for a successful beekeeping year.
Christi Baughman is the beegirl at beegirl.biz, which is a beekeeping business specializing in honey, bees and pollination. She is a North Texas Master Naturalist, an active member of the Trinity Valley Beekeepers Association of Dallas, TX and a commercial beekeeper, managing 1000-1500 hives.
Her business specializes in honey production in North Dakota, almond pollination in California and nucleus hives for sale in Texas.
She acquired her love of plants, beekeeping and the great outdoors as a result of growing up on a farm in eastern North Dakota. Beekeeping goes back to her farming roots. Being in Texas, she has educated herself in horticulture and honey and pollen plants for the Texas climate.
